CHASE THE RIVER'S GIANT. We built our fly-fishing expeditions for one kind of traveler: the angler who has dreamed of catching a wild Mongolian taimen.
FISH WHERE OTHERS CAN'T
Travel into protected and licensed waters across Central, Northern, and Eastern Mongolia. Our fishing locations are carefully selected and are not ordinary public fishing grounds.
REMOTE BY NATURE
Reach remote base camps by 4x4 expedition vehicles, or fly directly by private charter for groups of up to six. Far from roads, cities, and crowds — this is where the real expedition begins.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS ANGLERS
Our expeditions are designed for experienced fly fishermen. Taimen flies are provided, with additional fishing equipment available for rental.
PROTECT WHAT YOU CHASE
Every taimen is catch-and-release. We believe the greatest fishing experience is leaving the river as wild as you found it — protecting the fish, the water, and the wilderness for the next expedition.

A 3,800 km self-drive expedition from Ulaanbaatar into the far west of Mongolia, crossing open steppe, mountain roads, river valleys, cliffs and high-altitude landscapes before reaching Altai Tavan Bogd — home to Khüiten Peak, Mongolia's highest point. The journey combines challenging 4x4 driving with wild camping, hiking, photography, fishing, nomadic hospitality and an introduction to the diverse Kazakh culture of Bayan-Ölgii. You drive your own LC79 4x4 camper, while our professional lead driver and guide stay ahead of the convoy, supported by a private chef and mechanic. A maximum of five vehicles keeps the expedition small and personal.
